North side of saddle between Friendlies. Probably cornice triggered, or otherwise from something coming off cliffs above. Crown looked 4-12” deep, no step down or much propagation.

Generally great snow conditions on N aspects all day. Some wind slab near ridge lines. Crust on south aspect was a bit unpleasant at end of day. Worse on SE aspect than SW (got cloudy in afternoon).
