Isolated small wind slabs just below ridge line cornices below tree line were able to trigger with a few stomps

Isolated, small am wind slabs became larger (12” deep) by afternoon with new snow and strong ridgeline winds. Blowing snow was visually obvious. Below ridge line in the trees no instability and winds dropped quickly. Skied iut low angle ridge due to touchy, larger wind slabs on normal West aspect exits.
