Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Weather: light wind and snowfall mid morning until early afternoon, cooler temps. Warming and rising cloud cover in the afternoon with direct sun shining through on south slopes, rising temps. Light snowfall late afternoon.
Avalanche: no observed avalanches in the area. Roller balls on south slopes after sun came out.
Handshear test, moderate to hard effort, non-planar, 25cm deep.
Shovel tilt test, moderate planar, down 5cm.
Compression test, no fracture x3, CT22 RP down 45cm.
Super nice day, mild temps, lots of groups out on the slopes. A little crusty on south facing slopes, a little wind blown at times but overall an awesome time!
