We didn’t observe any signs of instability today, even with the new snow as deep as 1.5+ feet near the top of avalanche mountain. Near the ridgeline at the top we observed a slightly more cohesive slab in the snow, however it appeared to be well-bonded to the crust underneath. Snow stayed very cold throughout the day for the most part despite the sun, although South aspects began to get a little bit sun affected towards the end of the day.
