Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Went to the north side of Lichtenberg to find any remnants of dry snow hanging in there. It seemed promising skinning in smithbrooke, but shortly after crossing the creek, the snow became noticeably moist, the consistency of mashed potatoes, and snow was falling out of the trees like crazy. There was widespread SH around the creeks and some above on the way to lichtenwasser lake but it was rapidly being baked out of existence from our obs.
