From distance can see debris field of D2/3. Given low slope angle of fall line in the gully, guessing cornice fall or wind slab from above on MS Headcliffs. Also saw evidence of multiple D1/2 below TDH craggy ridge above mirror lake, likely from the steep tight chutes off ridge (NE facing). For all types tough to say type from afar.

Very cold, bluebird day though saw evidence of NW winds/snow transport coming off Hood summit. Travel wise, “dust on (relatively thick)crust next to road ascending via ski bowl to TDH. Crust supported weight on road if skinned very lightly. Punched through w normal skinning.
