Comments:
Widespread inter storm layer instabilities found. 4" below the surface at 8am. Another 8ish inches added to that throughout our time out. There were also step downs to another interface on larger unsupported slopes. Propagation varied from localized to running the entire length of large convexities. Cracks could be triggered by skinning on almost any steeper slope, near rolls, and sometimes even on or near established skin tracks.
Saw evidence of natural sluffing D1+ around unsupported and steep slopes on the out track.

Did you see shooting cracks?
Yes, Widespread
Did you experience collapsing or whumpfing?
No
We bailed on phantom trees after a natural sliff came over the waterfall during our skin up. We decided we didn't want the overhead hazard at treeline, nor the steepness associated with the lower skin track given the cracking.
