Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Hiked trail route with transition to snowshoes for floatation about 4000 elevation. Snow quickly becomes very deep with elevation. Found many tree wells and some surprise trees beneath the snow. We stayed on the ridgeline but could see small snow sloughs below where the trail to the lookout is. Wind affected snow on the breezy ridgeline.
