Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

We chose to avoid avalanche terrain because of the obvious wind transport problem and some insecurity about a deeper buried PWL above treeline on northerly aspects.

Advanced Observations

Observed Avalanche Problem #1:
Wind Slab
Comments:
We saw significant windloading and wind transport on all aspects at and above treeline. Specifically we experienced wind affected snow on northerly aspects but did see it in the distance on just about every slope we looked at. Unsure about potential size but with 30 plus mph gusts, more snow was being transported than we anticipated when discussing problems this morning. When performing some slope tests we did see reactivity. Unsure about depth, date of transport observed 12/3/22
