After 4 days in the terrain we skied fairly aggressively today. Ski quality remains good with sections of low coverage being the primary hazard. There are some wind slabs lurking at ridge tops above 5000 feet on West aspects, but nothing moved. No signs of instability noted, but we are still being very careful about where we ski due to coverage. Wind remained below the threshold to transport snow and temps are nice and cold. Looking forward to focusing more on overall structure over the weekend, but 4 days of skiing in uncontrolled sections of Stevens Pass Ski area have produced no avalanches or indication of instability. Still keeping it slow due to buried rocks, trees, and bushes, which are often hit. Sections of slide alder are still standing and real. Snow immersion suffocation stands out as the primary hazard so we are keeping close together in trees.
