Went out seeking shady slopes with good snow and definitely found some. A lot of people out in this area, probably 40-50 people in this zone alone making navigating other parties interesting. Near ridgelines the snow was mostly wind affected but there was good snow at the ridge in protected areas. The snow in the center of the silver basin bowl looked completely wind buffed. Just a little away from the ridge lines or in sheltered areas it was cold smoke. Snow depth was about 70-80cm in the area we were in which was definitely above average due to being in a somewhat sheltered area where wind would deposit snow. It’s still shallow out there so watch out for rocks! No signs of instability but we weren’t looking very hard.
