Observations
Toured Sunday up skyline and skied the north side of the ridge. Found about 8-12" of new light snow over the April 8 layer that was bonded well and right side up. Could not get this to react on smaller features and hand tests. A few point release sluffs observed off some steeper features on most aspects.
Weather was a mix of heavy snow, sun, and graupel, but winds were light. In the afternoon some areas exposed to the sun had firmed up a bit with a small solar crust forming in some areas. The ride out on the south face was challenging as snow had firmed up quite a bit.
