Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

NE facing 6200’ hasty pit isolated column hand shear moderate force Q2 at interface of mid November P hard rain crust (1 1/2” thick) and consolidated snow below. Recent storm snow bonded well to crust (similar bonding found at same elevation/region last week west facing). Skiing and skinning unable to affect crust layer. Great turns were had. No recent avalanche activity seen.
