Viewed from the edge of Newton Creek at coordinates 45.34139, -121.63368. Looking up the canyon, left side open face had a large path visible of a wind slab avalanche. Crown was maybe 100-200 feet from the top of the ridge at approx. coordinates 45.3537879, -121.6554650 , far above tree line and the path led down a considerable distance until out of view, probably about at least 1,000 feet long.
