Observations

Traveled from HWY 12 up to the edge of Miriam Basin. Generally very good travel and riding conditions. Upper snowpack was dry moderate density ~6" from the last storm. Wind affected snow near ridgelines at treeline. Dug a pit at 6350' on a 28deg east aspect. HS160 No notable results with a ECT and CT. Slight density change 22cm from the surface, a thin suncrust @40cm from surface, 10cm thick rain crust@ 65cm from surface with another thinner crust rain crust @82cm. Layers seemed well bonded to the various crusts.
