As noted in other recent observations, new snow appears to be right-side up, non-cohesive, non-reactive, and fairly well-bonded to layers below. Hand pits did not produce any planar results. Minimal wind slab observed, even on lee slopes near ridgeline. HS 160-170 cm at 5200'. Clear transition from wet lower snowpack (below crust from ~1 week ago) to drier upper snowpack. Did not observe mid-storm layer of concern which other observers mentioned earlier this week -- seems like it may have settled out, or perhaps was never present in this location.
