Once on the north side of Snow Lake Divide we noticed some isolated shooting cracks. After descending a few hundred feet we also observed a recent wind slab avalanche. We continued to descend towards snow lake and the skier at the front of our group triggered another wind slab with an 8-18 inch crown. He was carried about 60 feet before regaining his feet and walking away.
