Observations
Dug a pit and conducted a column test next to Artist Point. We observed the storm layer/PWL and noticed fractures occurred shallower than where we observed that layer. We are no snow scientists, so we bailed on our plan to circumnavigate Table Mountain and ducked down under the treeline to Lake Ann for some great skiing. No avalanches were observed.
