Observations
About a foot of heavy powder on top of a foot or more of wetter storm snow on open slopes above 5k. Seemed well bonded to the pre-storm crust. About 3-4 inches on crust in the trees. Didn’t see the evidence of wind we were expecting around ridge line above Upper Kendall Lake. Warming with some cliff band shedding on the way back to Commonwealth at noon. Pinwheels in lower Kendall slide and trees.
