Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Snow lake TH to source lake . Very firm / icy surface conditions on all aspects. solar aspect warming minimized by valley fog. Facet /crust sandwich observed on shaded slopes(3-5 cm of fist harness facets between surface crust and stout crust underneath) - a concerning structure to track as precip arrives. Surface hoar observed in valley floor - unsure of extent of distribution. No ATL observations.
